I’m going to Utah soon and I wanted to knit a new hat. I saw one online I wanted to recreate and figured it couldn’t be that hart. I found a similar color yarn but the texture was a bit different. I started it last weekend and almost finished it but had to put it down to come to Blissdom. Here are some teasers. I’m trying to figure out the decreases at the top to make it look just right and I hope it works out. Fingers crossed.
Walker and I went to the movie the other night which was so special because he doesn’t generally like to go. We compromised though but seeing “The Secret World of Arrietty”. I didn’t care what we saw I just love going to the movies, especially ones where you get to eat food and dessert. We took the motorcycle and I snapped a few photos from my seat on the back. We split some chips and queso, a pizza, and a 512 pecan porter milkshake-oh my gosh soooooo good! It was so sweet and he even let me hold his hand and cuddle during the show. It was perfect!
One of my goals for this year was to attend a blogging/small business conference. I looked around and decided on Blissdom in Nashville, TN. I bought my ticket, booked a plane ticket, and found a lovely roommate (well she found me). I head out tomorrow morning, early. My roommate, who I’ve yet to meet will be meeting me at the airport and taking me to the conference-SO nice of her. I am also so glad to make a friend before I get there, although my roomie and I have been emailing back and forth so I feel like we’re friends already. I am going to write a few posts while I’m away and I will fill you in on everything when I return! Woo!
