So excited to learn something new today! Woo! I have wondered for so long how people do this and finally today I googled-“Making a style board on-line” and was directed to Polyvore.com. It was super easy and fun! I really wanted to share what I was wearing today but wouldn’t be able to post pictures until later. So this is PERFECT! I am wearing this same shirt, a similar skirt from forever 21, a vintage braided belt, and I do not own this purse but wouldn’t it look great with this outfit?! I also braided each side of my hair and pulled the ends into a bun. I topped off my look with a little reddish/pink lipstick. I don’t always pull off outfits that I like so much but I was so glad I did today because I was so tired this morning but my outfit really perked me up and I’m in such a great mood today! Plus I learned something new!

Soup is my Favorite!

What better to eat during the rainy, cool weekend then soup! I made a huge batch of corn chowder and ate it all weekend long (Walker helped some). On the second day though I thought it would be nice to add some greens to it so I cooked up some spinach and piled it on top of our bowls. Mmmm it was sooo good! If you have some soup recipes you think I should have please please share them in the comments below!

Finally Finished Painting

Probably over a year ago my coworker asked if I would paint two fun canvases to brighten up the bathroom in our office (yes we have a bathroom in the office). She bought all the supplies and all I had to do was paint them. It wasn’t supposed to be anything complicated just colorful. I painted the first one pretty quickly because it was fun and I felt a bit obligated. Then my jewelry business took off and the second painting that had been started was quickly stuffed away. Recently I got a friendly reminder from my coworker when she asked about the progress of the second one. Ah oh yeah! So I pulled the sucker out of the closet and finished it over the weekend. It sure feels nice to finish projects that have been sitting around for soooo long. (The last picture is the latest one I have, I added a bit more paint to make it looked more polished but haven’t photographed it yet)
