Within the last week I discovered there is a new ice cream shop here in Austin. I get super excited about trying new things and even more excited if they are sweets and then again even more excited when I find out they areĀ using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. This place ranked high on the list of things for me to try. The day we decided go they had 12 flavors available and there were 4 of us so obviously we all picked 3 flavors so we could try everything. Best idea! After trying all the flavors my favorite was probably fresh mint and chocolate chunk and the least favorite by far was the cilantro and lime (I have that aversion to cilantro where it tastes like soap to me and it’s not all in my head because I had no idea which one was the cilantro flavor but when I did try it I was like eww what is this one?). I was pleased with all the rest. Good job Lick!
WIWW-Does this work?

The other day I was going through some boxes of clothed deciding whether to keep them or not. I ran across a few things I was willing to try and reinvent. Please help me out here do they work?
Blue Top: Delia’s years ago ( I do like this top, the color is great)
Blue linen/cotton pants: LOFT last year (I have yet to wear these pants, I can’t decide what top to wear with them and they are too long but does the cuff look strange or is that ok).
Belt: Vintage (also had for years)
Orange sandals: Aldo (new I love them!)
I am really unsure of this outfit so any suggestions/comments would be great!
Seagull top: thrifted (I wore a lot and then stopped but I kind of like it with this skirt, thoughts?)
Skirt: Gap (new)
Shoes: Boutique 9 (I usually wear them in dance class)
Tank: American Apparel (a few years ago)
Skirt: Gap (new)
Orange Sandals: Aldo
I like this outfit the most and actually just wore it yesterday. I love the color blocking and the bold, bright colors.
Have you tried to reinvent anything in your closet lately?
