In following with the theme on this particular day we visited Queen Anne. The space needle is there, the Pacific Science Center, great views and the city, and some odds and ends. We started at the Science Center to see the King Tut exhibit. The museum itself was more catered towards kids but Walker loves games and puzzles and they had a bunch of them.
We took a break for lunch before heading back to the butterfly room and the King Tut exhibit. It was pretty cool but really crowded. After that the sun made a brief appearance so Walker pulled out his binoculars so we could see Venus passing in between us and the sun. Can you see the tiny black dot?
Then despite the rain and the cold we scooted our booties up to a high point in Queen Anne to get a great view of the city. It was worth it I’d say.
We ended the day having drinks and catching up with my friend from college that we randomly ran into the other day. It was a good day. They have all been good days. I’m still having a great time but I am fully aware that in a few days I will be heading back to Austin and it will be many days until I see Walker again. Sad face.
