It’s not that I’m not busy I just love to have me some knitting time here and there. Well and also I am wanting to have a project in process when I make my first trip to Utah with some friends for a “ski” weekend. I say “ski” because I’m picturing myself snowshoeing, ice skating, sipping hot chocolate in the lodge while knitting and maybe cross country skiing. I’m not too into dangerous things so I might be a little daring one day and take to the bunny hill but that will probably be the extent of it. I suppose you should check in to see when I get back (the trip is in early March). Anyhow I’m using the same yarn I used to make Walker’s sweater and I think it will be just so adorable when we are wearing sort of twin sweaters. Haha!
Tiny Gold Texas Pendants
February 6, 2012
Around Christmas time I got a special order to make a couple of gold tiny Texas pendants. I don’t work with gold often so it was kind of a treat to make them. The metal seemed so shiny and delicate. I enjoyed just holding them in my hand and I was sad to see them go.
So recently when I was contacted again to make more of the tiny gold Texas pendants I was so excited! I couldn’t help but take photos of the tiny things all together.
Aren’t they so cute!
Blogging Party Update
February 4, 2012
So last week I wrote about Lisa, my blogging party link-up partner. A day or 2 after my post I received my package from her! I was so excited to open it! This is what I found…
A very cutely wrapped package with a handwritten note.
A hand sewn tote bag made of vintage fabrics-so cute! You can’t see them in the photo but she even lined the bag and added pockets. I love her attention to detail!
And finally…a knitting needle holder! Holy cow! She also sewed this herself! I told her I knit a lot and she was so kind and thoughtful to make this for me. The best part is I don’t already have one so I was so super excited! It also has so many slots for needles. I added a bunch of needles to it today and I was so pleased with it.

Thank you again Lisa! I am so blessed to have been partnered with you and I really appreciate the effort you put into my gifts!
