Our few days out together are always filled with silliness, sleepiness, and take after take of pictures to achieve one where we both look mostly ok. You should see some of the outtakes! I won’t share though, you’re welcome mom!

1,2- me being silly trying to decide what to wear, did I really think I would wear heels? I should know better by now!

3,4,5-laying on the shores of Lake Michigan after tubing for over an hour

6- heating my neck, I pulled it the first night of camping and it was hurting the rest of the time, I’m a trooper though

Wow it’s hard to believe my mom and I have been taking the same vacation now for 13 years! It never gets old though! We look forward to visiting familiar places and discovering new places. We jam pack our few days of “camping” to the brim. I say “camping” because, while we do sleep in tents, we sleep on cots and are able to use regular toilets and shower daily. That way when we head into the little towns to explore we look put together but we can still come back to camp and have a fire at night.

8-lemon and watermelon ice from Little Bee’s Italian Ice-yum!

9-We went to a music festival and saw our favorite Michigan folk artists Seth and May

10-Beautiful coals at camp

Maybe you didn’t know I was away since I planned ahead! Ha! But I was. I went on the annual mother/daughter camping trip. This was our 13th year! We had so much fun and I have lots to share. Not right now but soon, like tomorrow soon.
