I was meeting up with some friends the other day but showed up early at the destination. I decided to walk down the street to a place called Walton’s here in Austin. I’ve walked by a handful of times and was always drawn to it’s charm but had yet to go inside. I picked out a couple of treats from the counter, a lemon tart because I love  them, and a lemon macaroon to see why people love them so much. I suppose it was just a lemon treat kind of day. The macaroon was different than expected but I can’t decide if that was a good or a bad thing. The lemon tart was quite good and when I met up with my friend I shared and they agreed.
