I turned 30!
-On January 1st I celebrated my 30th birthday.
My shop is turning 3!
-On January 31st my shop celebrates it’s 3rd year in business.
I have a new look!
-After nearly 3 years in business I finally have a professional logo and blog design (thanks to the lovely Jenny)
I’ve been waiting until I could celebrate all 3 together to do a really fun giveaway and make it super special! I’d love it if you would join in the fun! It’s finally here! My new beautiful site and I just love it and I’m so glad I can finally share it with you!

Way back in April of last year I contacted Maiedae about a logo design and blog makeover. I was paired up with Jenny and we got to work. I will tell you though the only reason it took so long is because I’m so slow at making decisions. So even though the site has a very clean and simple design each small design element took me way longer than it should of. I have no idea how Jenny could be so patient but she was and it was just wonderful to work with her. She was always so helpful and never made me feel rushed.
We started with the logo which is a combination of my work and Jenny’s. I hand drew the saw and wanted it to be a part of the finished design. There was an almost logo right before the one you see now and I’m so glad I decided to change it. For the blog I wanted a really clean look and an easily navigated site. Do you think I accomplished that?

One last thing as I mentioned above. Next week I will be having a pretty big giveaway in celebration of my new site, my 30th birthday (January 1st), and the 3rd anniversary of my shop (January 31st)! I get super excited when events are happening in my city so when I saw that Moorea Seal would be hosting an event to show off her new collection at Madewell I made plans to go. My friend and I got there a bit early so we looked around at all the racks and both found an on sale item to purchase.
Once the event picked up I got a glass of champagne and did a bit of socializing. I met Jess of Pine and Boon who sells super awesome handmade leather bags. She also has a few of her items in Moorea Seal’s shop so we talked about that a bit. It was exciting to meet a fellow maker so maybe if I get the courage I can reach out to her at some point.
I stayed for a little while but then I had to boogie home because my sister was in labor and I wanted to facetime with my mom to see what was going on.
