I mentioned the other day that my shop celebrated it’s 2nd anniversary. I planned a little happy hour with Walker and 2 of my friends here in the city. We went to Poco Wine and Spirits (a first for all 4 of us). We shared a bottle of wine and just relaxed while laughing and enjoying each others company. It was very low key and intimate gatherings are my favorite so it was perfect. Here’s to making sure year 3 is even better yet!
(Also sorry about these photos-we were having a lighting issue-so it goes)
What’s even more exciting than 1 year in business?! 2 years! I never could have dreamed all that’s happened for me and my business in the last 2 years but I’m overjoyed and very grateful.
Just the other day I found a sticky note with a message about a silver jewelry basics class. The class that started this all in motion for me. It’s crazy to think the little decisions we make everyday will snowball and turn into our dreams. But that’s exactly what happens and I’m not complaining. I’m celebrating and I’m celebrating you because where would I be without you?
In celebration of me but most importantly you I have a little deal to offer you. Here it is:
-the first 5 people to sign up for my newsletter and confirm it then email me at ohsoantsyatgmail.com that you have done so will get a very special surprise from me. I’ll give you a hint. You should also email your address and the state your heart lives in.
If you aren’t one of the first lucky 5 don’t worry! I have a special coupon code for you. Same deal sign up for the newsletter and email me and I will message you back with a special birthday code-good until it’s used! Woo! Hint: it’s for 15% off. Ok I guess I just spilled it. No matter, I’m excited!

I hope to get a lot of emails today!
Looking back in my blog archives I realized I never shared any pictures of last year from my 1 year celebration. I’m sharing now. My hair looks so dark!
Upon visiting a few of my favorite blogs today (rougeandwhimsey and julieannart) I noticed they both recounted their 2012 in relation to their blogs and handmade businesses. I have quite a few notables from this year and I thought it would be fun to do something similar.
Here we go!
-January is of course my birthday month which is awesome but this year is also marked the 1 year anniversary of my shop!
-February I fulfilled my goal of attending my first blogging/small business conference and met some really awesome people. {Blissdom in Nashville}
-March I headed to Utah for the first time and snowboarded for maybe an hour. Later in the month Walker found out he got the job in Seattle.
– April I visited New Orleans for the first time and confirmed 100% that I am allergic to oysters.
-May was Walker’s last month in Texas and we lived it up!
-June Walker moved to Seattle and I checked out the city during my first time there.
-July I left my day job to pursue OhSoAntsy full time! I left Texas and moved home for the summer to spend time with friends and family.
-August I attended my 10 year high school reunion. My how time flies.
-September I moved to Seattle to be with Walker.
-October I went on my annual fall “camping trip”.
-November we celebrated a Northwest Thanksgiving with some friends (who also moved from Texas) in Oregon. My first Oregon trip.
-December marked the busiest month of my business to date. I was slammed with work and was glad to finally take a break to celebrate Christmas. This was our first Christmas living together.
