Halloween this year was a little overshadowed by the arrival of my new nephew so we didn’t have any big parties to go to but last night my mom and I decided to dress up and head out to dinner.

Since she is a first time grandma she went as granny smith (apple) and I went as ant Jessica since I’m a first time aunt. Our costumes were a bit thrown together last minute but I think they turned out all right. We had fun laughing at ourselves. We even boogied a little on the dance floor at the restaurant with a few zombies.

I hope you all had a good Halloween! Now it’s time to think about Thanksgiving and Christmas shopping (shudder).
